Recent Events - Café in the Sanctuary and Church Anniversary

March 2008: The second weekend in March was a busy one at Tilehouse Street. We had the Café in the Sanctuary on Friday and celebrated the Church's 339th Anniversary on the Sunday.

Following the success of last year's event our youth groups, FnF and Edge again created a Café in the Sanctuary on Friday evening as part of World Vision's 24-hour famine campaign.

On the Sunday we were delighted to be able to welcome Rev Jonathan Edwards, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain as our guest speaker to help the Church celebrate its 339th Anniversary.

And the fun wasn't over. The following Friday the youth groups held an all-night table-tennis marathon to raise funds for Sport Relief. Here they are, tired and tirumphant after a hard night play.
