February 2010: Café in the Sanctuary is now established as an annual event. This year funds were being raised to support PHASE, working with children and young people across Hitchin.

Our bakers had not disappointed us. There was a mouth-watering selection of buns and cakes on display... |
... and a team of willing staff to serve the customers. |

Soft drinks as well as tea and coffee were served at one side of the sanctuary... |

... while a team of roving waiters brought mulled fruit punch round. |
The new layout in the sanctuary made it possible to provide tables and chairs in true café style. |
