March 2008: We have held a very successful half day for families with young children for the past few years. There are activities and the Easter story is told in words and song.

The event was advertised with a banner outside the Halls. |
The hall was soon full of parents and youngsters, |

who were soon busy with the many activities. Doesn't dough feel great between your hands? |
Gill told them all the Easter story and the good news that Jesus is still alive. |

Most were listening attentively. |
And then they all went into the back room to see what was in the tomb..... and it was EMPTY! |

We were promised an egg to crack and it was a very big egg. Sharon's friend Chickadee helped crack it with a hammer. |
Then it was back to the hall for refreshments and more activities. |
