The start of Easter weekend was the Good Friday walk of witness with Churches Together in Hitchin. As we set off from Church the Easter cross was stark and bare.
|
It would be filled with flower on Easter morning. |
We followed our usual route along Tilehouse Street, down Old Park Road and, as seen here, right into Bedford Road. Here we met up with the walkers from Christchurch and proceded into Elmside walk. |

The CHurches Together in Hitchin banner was to lead the procession behind the crosses. |
