Recent Events - Good Friday Walk of Witness

Churches Together in Hitchin organise a Walk of Witness each Good Friday. As usual Tilehouse Street took part.

Empty Cross As for the last few years, we have an empty cross outside the church during Holy Week. On Easter Day the congregation deck it with flowers to symbolise the new life in the Resurrection.

Tilehouse Street brings one of the three crosses displayed in the Market Place. We set off in bright but very blustery weather. Mercifully it was not as cold as had been predicted.
