Recent Events - Harvest Festival

As usual at the end of September we celecbrated God's goodness to us, while at the same time remembering the needs of others, in our Harvest Festival.

Welcoming flowers The vestibule welcomed the congregation with these bright sunflowers.

And a reminder of the tools used in the garden.

Bringing our gifts

As has become usual, we brought gifts of dried and tinned goods which will be given to the North Herts Sanctuary for the homeless and the local soup run.


Our monetary offering was towards the work of Operation Agri. Even the small can help with the collection.

We watched a short video from Operation Agri about their work in Uganda where, amongst other things, the benefits of compost to conserve moisture were explained to local farmers.


These splendid vegetables were on display on the communion table. See if you think I've got the photo the right way up.
