Tilehouse Street Baptist Church, Hitchin
In July we held a 'Holiday at Home'. This allows some of the older folk who wouldn't normally get away for a holiday to enjoy themselves in like company with entertainment, activities and meals.

As in previous years there were excellent meals provided. |
There were several musical entertainments. |

This group call themselves 'No strings attached' and as you can see there are no strings - they are all wind players. |
On the day appointed for the garden party the weather was poor so we had our cream tea indoors. |

We had a film show on the final day and during the interval.... |
This strange creature appeared to provide ice cream. |

In the afternoon the helpers presented their pantomime - a rather unusual version of Cinderella .... |
... followed by an equally unusual version of the Three Bears |
