March 2010: Stondon member, Mike Campbell, felt the call to serve as Pastor to the congregation. We were delighted to take part in his induction service.

The little village chapel was packed with congregation and many guests. Former pastor, Mike Ewings and wife Helen can be seen here. Also present were Rev Jane Kingsnorth and husband, John. |
Many members of Mike's family had travelled up from London for the occasion. |

Representing the Central Baptist Association, Rev Stephen Copson conducted the service. |
The guest preacher was a former minister of Mike's early church in London, Rev Brian Robinson. Brian preached an excellent and challenging sermon. |

Mike gave us a powerful testimony before the formal induction procedure. |
Members gathered round for the laying on of hands. |

Followed by a formal handshake of welcome. |
Afterwards there was a splendid buffet served with tea. |
